Downloads

• Your code should run on the g++ compiler on the CS UNIX machines.
• If you are working from home, you will likely want a copy of SSH (UIC's site license version. Look for something like SSHSecureShellClient-3.2.0.exe). Alternatively you can do a free download of SSHSecureShellClient-3.2.9.exe
• You can also use other development tools, such as MinGW. Here is a copy of devcpp-5.9.9.2_setup.exe (~9MB), though you may want to look for the latest version at http://www.bloodshed.net/. On the Mac check out http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/xcode/
• You can find instructions on getting a copy of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET here. Note that there are options for both downloading it as well as checking out a copy from the library. In both cases you will need to retrieve the license online.
