Be aware that some of the solutions above have the indentation messed up a little bit. This is due to the software I use on the PC to write the programs and to generate web pages. I'm unwilling at this point to do extra editing just for this. Be assured that the originals are all nicely formatted.

To get an idea of what you might expect, take a look at the following old assignments and solutions. These programs give you examples of most of what you need to write programs in this course, as well as showing what I expect in terms of documentation.
You may be interested in coding standards used at Bell Labs.
Consider using Nedit (or XEmacs), and the ddd debugger.
