I was born at a very young age in Hollywood and grew up in Ecuador and Mexico. My folks were missionaries down there, which was a great experience for me. My beliefs in the supernatural have shaped who I am and what I do.
My hobbies are playing the guitar, basketball, and gardening. I've been married since 1991 to my wife Desiree and I've got three children: Justice (1994), Forrest (1996), and Tirzah (1999). Check out some (old) family pictures.
I went skydiving to celebrate my 40th birthday.
A favorite stanza of poetry, from Robert Frost's "Two Tramps in Mud Time":
But yield who will to their separation,
My object in living is to unite
My avocation and my vocation
As my two eyes make one in sight.
Only where love and need are one,
And the work is play for mortal stakes,
Is the deed ever really done
For Heaven and the future's sakes.
